J. Bannon "Destroyer of Worlds: NEON BLUE (Glow in the Dark)" Silkscreened Print
"Destroyer of Worlds" is my mixed media interpretation of Godzilla "The King of the Monsters" (ゴジラ, Gojira). The type on the right portion of the piece reads "I have become Death, the Destroyer of Worlds" in proper Japanese Kanji. The piece was originally created for the Holy Kaiju Art show at Holy Mountain Printing in Raleigh, NC (on display 11/02 - 11/30). There were 3 originals made using a mix of ink, gouache, acrylic, and collage on mylar, later mounted to plywood. Approximate dimensions of the originals are 44" W X 22" H. One of these originals is on display at the event.
This is a silkscreened version printed by Burlesque of North America in 5 configurations: Kraft Brown, Moon Lava Chrome Mirror, Gold Mirror, Neon Green (Glow in the Dark), and Neon Blue (Glow in the Dark). Each version is limited to 50 prints only, all signed and embossed by myself. Dimensions: 36" W X 18" H.
This is the Neon Blue (Glow in the Dark) version.
